This was the first year we've done this race as a family without a stroller! Here we are at the start of the 1 mile with our friends the Mitchells. Trey did the 5K with Terran and I and he did awesome. (Beat his mom by a long ways.)
By the time Bryce, Blake and Meghan ran their race (the 1 mile) the boys were a little worn down with all the waiting and walking back and forth from the start and finish lines. Blake had had the flu the 2 days before but was feeling better (but not 100%). He was super excited that morning about the run tho, so we still brought him. He ended up riding most of the mile on my shoulders, but we made it. Meghan ran it with her Dad and she didn't stop. She ran the whole thing and was awesome.
Afterwards we all look a little tired. Fun day though! It was pretty cool out. Just glad it didn't rain or snow on us. About 3,000 people here the paper said.
