T took chance to put our new floors in over the weekend that me and kids were out of the house. His buddy Justin even came up and helped him.
Here's the laminate in the dining/ living room area. (The kitchen tile's not in yet where the lineoleum is.)
...and down the hall. I love it! It seems darker in real life than in this picture. The kids think it's great to slide on. Today when Blake had an accident on it though, I just thought, wow, this is so much easier to clean up than carpet. The old stuff got pretty nasty. As Terran was starting to rip up the carpet before we left for the weekend, he was marking the walls where he was taking moldings off with a sharpie, and Bryce wanted to help. T said sure, and even let him write his name on the carpet (since we were ripping it up.) Bryce thought that was so cool, he put a BIG sharpie smile on my yellow wall a little while later. It was hard to be mad, since that was a little confusing and the smiley was so happy:) Thank goodness for those magic eraser things and paint.
I'm liking this rug, might go get the big one. It has the sage green (like couch), maroon and tans in it. Can't decide yet.
The kids bathroom's done! I like the way they put it on the diagonal.
